The walls of the historic depot provided a unique challenge. About 75% of the wood was in reasonable condition, but covered in a combination of lead paint and stain. The other 25% of the walls had either been taken off in previous owner activities or water damaged.
After reviewing the options with a number of restoration experts the decision was made to remove the materials and take the building down to the studs.
With the help of a NH restoration and demolition crew we did the hard work of getting the building back to the studs.
